Land of Fire

The Land of Fire is appropriately oriented towards the element of fire, typically having a very bright and warm weather, with which the citizens enjoy and allows bountiful harvests all year-round. Because of its location, the Land of Fire trades heavily with the other surrounding countries, giving it one of the largest populations and strongest economies. It is widely regarded as one of the strongest countries.

Land of Wind

The Land of Wind is a large, dry, and desolate country whose cities are typically found near water sources. While much of the country is inhospitable, the population is large and prosperous due to its frequent trading with the Land of Fire.

Land of Water

The Land of Water is composed of many islands, with each having its own unique traditions. The country's weather is typically cool and full of mist and lakes, while in some places it is very cold and snows quite a bit.

Land of Lightning

Little is known about this village. However, at one time the Hidden Cloud Village attempted to attack and destroy Konoha, betraying a peace treaty. The Hidden Cloud's shinobi lost miserably and never fully recovered.

Little is known, except for their violent past with the Hidden Leaf.

Land of Rain

The Land of Rain is filled with a great number of small buildings in a heavily wooded area, suggesting that it might be located in a rainforest. Its borders are highly defended, and those wishing to pass through the country must first give every information on how they intend to visit the country before being allowed admission. Even if one is permitted to enter the country, they will be under constant surveillance by the government for the duration of their stay. Because the Land of Rain is situated between three of the five great countries, it often acts as the battlefield for their wars and much of its population are war refugees, and as a result its government lacks stability.

Land of Sound

The Land of Rice Fields, otherwise known as the Land of Sound, is a small country bordering the Land of Fire's northern border. The Land of Rice Fields is its original name, with the Land of Sound, possibly derived from Otogakure, being Orochimaru's own name for it.

Land of Waves

The Land of Waves is a relatively poor nation, and thus does not have a Hidden village. It is an isolated island, but used to be prosperous nonetheless, until Gato set his sights on it. He broke the people's will and monopolized the import/export industry, which was crucial for its economy. Team 7's first real mission was to this country, and, with the help of Zabuza Momochi and the townspeople, Gato's reign of terror was ended for good.

Land of Grace

These are graceful people that tend to fight with water like movements. they are very difficult to hit to all but the fastest of fighters. they tend to be more religious then others and say that is the reason for their inhuman like grace.

Land of Bears

Introduced in the Star Village filler arc and is home to Hoshigakure. It is surrounded by a canyon filled with poisonous gas. The shinobi of the Hidden Star Village train with a meteor that crashed there 200 years previous to the series' beginning. What the shinobi don't know is that it causes harm to them.

Land of Grass

Little is known about the Land of Grass. It is probably very rich with flora. The Country Leader is a Daimyo, the Grass Daimyo. The Land of Grass is home to Kusagakure. Obito Uchiha also perished in this country. The Grass Country is the home to the former Bridge of Heaven and Earth (Was destroyed in the battle between Team Yamato and Orochimaru & Kabuto). The Country is surrounded by a Bamboo and mushroom Forest and the Kannabi Bridge between Grass and Earth Country.

Land of the Moon

The mission to the Land of the Moon is the mission done in the Naruto Movie 3. It's a B-rank mission,given by Tsunade to team 7. The mission is to escort the Prince of the moon land to the island safely.In the road the prince and his son met with a circus group. Then the prince buys the entire circus for a billion ryo. In the moon land, the prince and Naruto's team are attacked by 3 ninjas, hired by the prime minister Shabadaba to kill the prince. Then the prince got kidnapped and sentenced to death by hanging him from the palace's roof. Later, the prince's son, helped by Cham, a tiger from the circus, and team 7 saved the prince and the final battle occurred. The leader of hired ninja has a glove that can control stone, and can curse someone into stone. naruto himself got his foot cursed, but at last he made it to kill the enemy using rasengan.

Land of Snow

The focus of the first Naruto movie, in which it had been taken over by a tyrant. Its hidden village is Yukigakure. The Land of Snow possesses an unusually advanced level of technology when compared to other countries in the Naruto world. Things such as railroads, airships, power generators, and volley guns are commonplace here, though the latter fired salvos of kunai instead of bullets. Additionally, their ninja wear special chakra armor that makes them virtually immune to ninjutsu and genjutsu.
